Description of Home:
Our 3 bedroom home of about 3500 square feet is located in Highland, California. In the upstairs familyroom is a large-screen HDTV, VCR, stereo, piano, and full computer set-up. The kitchen has every modern convenience, such as oven, microwave, electric mixers, toasters, popcorn poppers, garbage disposal, etc. There are 3 bathrooms, including 2 with tub and separate shower. Enjoy the large swimming pool, and orchard, all on 1 acre (automatic timed irrigation). Our car is available for your use - a 2001 Mercedes S430 [photographs of home below.] Absolutely no indoor pets, and no smoking in our Highland home.
The Area:
Our home is in the city of Highland, California, with an area population of +500,000. There is shopping and ethnic dining throughout the area cities, waterparks, ice-skating, and playgrounds for children. We're an hour east of the Pacific Ocean and Los Angeles and next to San Bernardino, CA. Beaches are also within easy driving distance; we especially enjoy Disneyland, Hollywood, and the nearby mountains. There is much to see and do in California, so we'll collect information and maps for the family with whom we exchange. (If you have not traveled in the U.S. before, remember that driving distances between cities may be as far as distances between countries in Europe - but most people become quickly accustomed to the geographical dispersion.)
